Note on Multi-Sampling: Most drum sample libraries use single recordings of each drum to represent the entire drum kit. Sounds Like Drums uses a technique called multi-sampling which plays back several recordings (called samples) each time a sound is made, resulting in a very realistic and expressive performance. Each different sample played back corresponds to the recording of a drum hit at a specified velocity, as well as the selection of specific microphones and muffling options.
